This increased my battery life

I can honestly say this has increased my battery life. if you have advanced config you can change the settings in there



Increase Battery Life
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\AsyncMac1\Parms] “DisablePowerManagement”=dword:1 Change to “DisablePowerManagement”=dword:0

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\Irsir1\Parms] “DisablePowerManagement”=dword:1 Change to “DisablePowerManagement”=dword:0

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\PPTP1\Parms] “DisablePowerManagement”=dword:1 Change to “DisablePowerManagement”=dword:0

as long as I been here and searched forums I never found that. I got the info from another forum, there are no side effects or anything like that. Just an improvement of the battery life

Does it turn off things on the phone if they aren't in use or something? Wouldn't having them turn on when they come into use take time, slowing the phone down?

This has been posted multiple times... I believe it started with the Q and has traveled through all the HTC devises. I've been using it since my mogul, and yes it works great. From what I understand, all it does is stop the phone for scanning for services it does not support that are built into WM 6. If your're real curious search under the mogul from and I believe there is a good explination there...
