Wifi Connection with Hidden SSID

Hello all. My Touch Pro will not connect to my home wireless network if SSID is hidden. When I broadcast the SSID, the touch pro connects with no problem. My Mogul would connect to a hidden network, not the touch pro. Any thoughts? Thanks folks.

Mine connected just fine to my "Non broadcated SSID" network. I'm using a crappy Dlink DIR-625 Router. It could be any number if different reasons why. Did you select the correct Authentication method and Data encryption settings?

If you are just concerened about your connection at home, You could always connect to your Router when it is broadcasting, then turn off the broadcast. Your device should still be able to find it.

Re: Wifi Connection with Hidden SSID

I have a DLink DI-524. My SSID is not broadcasted. I don't remember exactly, but I think I went through and manually added the network on the Touch Pro and it worked.

Make sure to check "Hidden Network" in the options when your setting it up.

Re: Wifi Connection with Hidden SSID

I was having the same issue with my touch pro.
I just change my security settings to WPA from WPA 2 and am perfect now.
