Change from default calendar app in tf3d. Find out how!
So probably like many other people, I installed Pocket Informant on my Touch Pro. To my dismay however, when I clicked the "calendar" on the TF3D home tab, it still defaulted to the Microsoft calendar despite Pocket Informant being set as default. I searched and searched and as many people know, svenso over at XDA wrote a little program called SSMaPa that allow you to change this. Many people on Sprint devices have been unable to use this correctly however as TF3D goes into a continuous loop of "starting... tap here to start... starting..."
Well, now svenso has also posted a solution for the rest of us. It seems to have been lost in the loop, but here it is! Read posts #1 and #208 and follow any links he gives. This not only applies to the calendar, but any app on TF3D he has set up in his program for you to substitute for. Check it out! I know this made me extremely happy as I've always like Pocket Informant (or any other third-party PIM manager of your choosing) over the Microsoft default. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=407777 Hopefully this wasn't already posted somewhere. Like I said, I haven't seen anywhere except XDA, and it seems to have been lost in the loop of things. |
