Scrolling problem.

When I flick my finger to scroll through my emails and then I tap the screen to stop the scrolling, it will then bring me to the text message folder, instead of stopping the scrolling. Is there a fix to this?

Re: Scrolling problem.

I find this annoying as well. Posted about it but all I was told was to just do quick tap on screen to stop the scrolling. This still doesnt work 100% of the time and it just scroll too damn much also.

Re: Scrolling problem.

Have you tried recalibrating your screen? If you move your finger across the screen left to right it changes from messaging to outlook to picture mail etc... depending what you have for mail accounts so if you drag your finger a bit when you tap to stop you might be causing it to go to the next mail account. Try recalibrating your screen maybe it is just a little to sensitive press a LITTLE harder not much with the styli while calibrating. Also be careful not to pass your finger over the D-pad while scrolling it will try to zoom in or out and i have seen some strange things happen when I have done this.

Re: Scrolling problem.

You can also crank up TFlo sensitivity, so you don't have to push as hard to scroll (mostly in apps) - [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\OEM\TFLOSettings] increase FingerPressure. Default is 16. I am having good luck on 128, I may raise it higher. Higher = more sensitive, lower = less sensitive.

Re: Scrolling problem.

yea, i tried recalibrating. and i lightly tap it with the stylus also, so there are no room for dragging. wonder if this is common with all phones or just a few.

this just happens to the inbox of my emails. other settings and apps are fine with scrolling. and i use mail2web for pushmail, if that would help deciphering this problem.
