is there really no way to remove stock progs

i went and did a hard reset. followed by a soft reset once the progs were going to install and everytime i have reset the device... it still continues to go to the initial setup... WTF!!!

IM READY TO SCREAM

it worked for the mogul but its not working for the touch pro.

I have not tested it, but I have read that after a hard reset if you soft reset the device three times (each time before the customization runs) then on the fourth run it will not run the customization...

If you are trying to prevent the customization, I thought I read someplace that you have to soft reset 3 times right before it starts doing the customizations. Not 100% sure though.

ok so i didnt brick it. what is happening is that after the hard reset. it goes to do the initial setup. then the customizations and what not. i soft reset there. then once it boots up... it goes right the f*ck back to the main set up screen where it displays that annoying message "Preparing your device for first use"

did htc and sprint just eff us because honestly half the stuff on here i doubt highly is even necessary and just bogging down this phones actual capabilities...

so i skipped the customizations again. i think imma try and get touch flo the hell outta here. i mean it looks pretty but damn maybe thats the reason.

and who ever said that reseting it 3 times should have to tell all his friends he wears a merkin.

Yes TF3D does slow things down a bit. I have disabled it in the Today settings, and base windows is very fast.

You need to soft reset when it says it is going to run the customizations... As stated above, three shots at that supposedly skips it.

P.S. Just trying to be helpful...

TouchFlo is just a today plugin, uncheck it in the today items screen if you don't want to use it, and it will just cost you a bit of storage space. If you want to get rid of the Sprint bloatware though, I suggest flashing a custom rom. I have been having good luck with JD's rom, and he just updated it to the final version.
