Sprint Touch Pro - Keyboard issues with Citrix/RDP

Anyone else confirm that the hardware keyboard will not work for the login screen in Citrix? I've used a Mogul for quite some time and I did see this issue with a bad ROM early on, but its been fine since. The issue I'm is I'm not able to type using the hardware keyboard into the "Windows Login in screen" - nothing, no input whatsoever.

If yours does work can you let me know what Citrix Client you are using.

Thanks!

Re: Sprint Touch Pro - Keyboard issues with Citrix/RDP

Sorry for the slow response back but I have this phone on a trial and my boss had it over the weekend.

I've reinstalled the Citrix client and I've tried the MS 6.1 RDP client. The RDP client works like I'd expect. The Citrix client has issues with the physical keyboard except for TAB and ENTER - those 2 keys work nothing else does. I've played around with this some more on my Titan and where I've had issues there was when I had Opera installed, since it is in this ROM removing it isn't an option.

The Citrix client I'm using is the current one on the Citrix Site. I'm connecting to a full desktop and where I have issues is at the login screen for Windows 2003.

I logged in by setting the Logon Settings in the client, but even when I'm in Windows the only keys that appear to work are Tab, Enter, arrow keys, but nothing else works. Even if I drop to a DOS prompt I can only hit Enter, but nothing else.

Re: Sprint Touch Pro - Keyboard issues with Citrix/RDP

There are a few setting you need to change for the external qwerty to work on the Touch Pro with the ICA client. Open the ICA Client from Programs.

This should lauch into the browser.

Select "Edit Global Settings"
Select "Edit Preferences"
Change "IME Settigns" to Disable Both
Check the "Send Hardware Button Input" box

You might be interested in playing with the "Enable Full Screen" box setting as well, but you'd want to change the session resoltion to 640x480 first via the client or Web Interface depending on how you're connecting.

Re: Sprint Touch Pro - Keyboard issues with Citrix/RDP

Hi Joe,

I just did a blog on use of the Touch Pro with Citrix if you're interested, which has this "fix" posted as well:

http://community.citrix.com/blogs/ci...2C+Ready+Today

There a few other ideas and a note one use of full screen mode as well.
