repair damaged pro (scratches)
Any advice on how to touch up on a pro that was damaged from being dropped?
The chrome is scuffed a bit as well sa the battery cover in a small area. Should I sand it a bit in those areas and get paint from a hobby store? |

This issue has been already addressed to Sprint tech employees. this e-mail was recieved t his morning
Known Issue: HTC Touch Pro Chrome Sides damage caused when device is dropped from approximately ear-level. When the device is dropped from approximately 5 feet under certain conditions, the device can suffer damage to the chrome sides. Damage seen can be a crack or significant chips in the corners. Impacted ESN Range : A1000007800572 through A1000007805C7A Instructions: • If the user has significant damage to the chrome side as a result of a drop, replace the HTC Touch Pro free of charge. CE is working to improve this user experience in a future hardware upgrade/enhancement. The new hardware will be in inventory November 2008. |

Just go to any sprint repair center. You should be okay

Umm... it's supposed to withstand damage when being dropped from 5 feet? Was that a joke post?
