tethering for xbox 360?

would the tethering hack for the TP work for the 360? anybody test it yet?

if it works I'm going to do the hack.

Well you can use wmwifirouter and it should work just fine(assuming you have a wireless adpater for your 360). I've done it with my mogul just for the hell of it and it worked surprisingly well. I even played a few rounds of halo3 and call of duty 4 using my mogul with no lag at all.

I don't have the wireless adapter for the 360. I can't believe it didn't even come built-in like the Wii or PS3

I'm just a noob when it comes to registry hacking and I know that there's a cab file for the tethering hack in the other threads. Hopefully someone can confirm that it works on the 360!

Impossible to tether your phone directly to the 360. The 360 has no drivers for it and no functionality for tethering with a USB device. It supports a connection via its Ethernet jack of WiFi. That's it. You could connect your 360 to a computer via Ethernet, and then tether your phone and use ICS to share the connection, but that's the most you can expect.

i have been trying to do this for awhile just to see if i can figure it out but it seems im kinda stuck at the moment . i have tethered my phone to my computer and i have been trying to get it to share the connection with my xbox but i must be missing something anyone have a step by step on this

i tether on the 360 but not directly what i do is connect to the pc with my phone as modem then run an ethernet cable from your pc to you xbox360 . turn on your xbox360 and go to network conections. you will see your local area connection and your xbox360 connection . now jus bridge the two together and it works. then run the tests on your 360 and it should pick it up

with vista and a tp2 this process has never worked for me!! in xp it worked perfectly!!

edit : network discoverly wasnt setup correctly!!
