Opera 9.5 16643 landscape lag/feeze issue

I keep getting lag in Opera only when I'm in lanscape mode. The scrolling and zooming get jittery, that's when I know the lag will occur while scrolling. I can't figure out what the issue could be. I am on a custom ROM, so I'm sure something is wrong there, but WHAT? D: When I do a soft-reset, the issue is gone, and then, after having one or two sessions of Opera open and close, and then opening it, the issue is back. What is going oooon? o_O
