Disk Drive Mode

How do you make your Touch Pro appear as a disk drive when connected to a laptop as opposed to a portable device?

A screen on the phone pops up when connecting the USB cable and the option to active sync or use as disk drive (faster) is given. Clicked the radio button and that's it.

Re: Disk Drive Mode

nueMassStorage isn't needed. Such functionality is built in to the device. You may have to go to the USb connection settings to change it if you told it to always use activesync mode, though.

Re: Disk Drive Mode

Also keep in mind in this mode you can ONLY see the storage card. Not the built in flash.

Re: Disk Drive Mode

you must have a micro sd card in the phone for the disk thing to work, the screen will only pop up then. the way it works is it translates the card as a mass storage device.
