Question about Keyboard/landscape input

When using the slideout keyboard OR the onscreen keyboard and typing in landscape the cursor moves but I can't see the letters, eventually they show up all stacked on themselves in the middle of the bar... once the keyboard is closed the text shows up.. but of course you have to be an accurate typer since you can't see what the heck you're doing otherwise... anyone else with this problem?
'
Critical? do you have a fix. I can't believe it "should" act like this. I have the Diamond and i used the hardkey to activate/force landscape mode and had this issue too. I figured it was because I wasn't supposed to be in landscape mode.... but its the exact same issue with the Pro which, of course is supposed to be landscape as that is what happens when you slide out the keyboard. We need a fix! please =D>

Re: Question about Keyboard/landscape input

I think my keyboard is dead. I can type and no cursor movement or anything. It lights up pretty and all but no text ever shows on the screen.

Re: Question about Keyboard/landscape input

I'm seeing the same problem when switching to landscape in some programs. Also, I've noticed that switching to landscape in PHM Regedit when in the tree view, most of the text disappears. Maybe something to do with VGA/fonts? It only happens in certain programs.

Re: Question about Keyboard/landscape input

Hope there's a fix out there. Another thread mentioned Net 3.5 being installed.. I do have that on both phones. And it is necessary to other programs I'm running so I hope that is not the culprit. I will uninstall and check later tonight. Can only check on the Diamond as the Pro is my b/f's and I won't see them again til the weekend... but the problem is identical (sans hard keyboard).

Re: Question about Keyboard/landscape input

I noticed when I had Clear Type Enabled For Landscape it did that. I have 3.5 installed and dont have this problem. If you have it enabled for LS take it off to see if it helps.

This totally cleared up the problem on the Diamond. I will talk my friend through the settings tonight to test the pro.. Great that I don't have to worry about it being the net thingie! =D>
