Touch PRo Keyboard gap

Just got my TP today from BB. Love the phone--except when the keyboard is slid in, there's a small gap between the keyboard and the phone itself (gap is on the left side of the phone) and when you push it down it wobbles.

Anyone having this issue? is it supposed to be like this?

supposed to be like that but its a horrible design to leave that much wobble in there. Makes a "clacking" sound when you tap the screen firmly, very very annoying

Re: Touch PRo Keyboard gap

Mine has a nearly unnoticable gap.. literrally less than half a millimeter.. If the gap were any smaller, there would be major scraping when opening the keyboard..

Re: Touch PRo Keyboard gap

My gap is actually on the bottom side of the phone by the home/call/end buttons when it's closed. It's almost like the screen half of the phone is very slightly "bowed".

Re: Touch PRo Keyboard gap

Thanks. it seems like they made the gap on purpose..but like others have said, it's kinda annoying when you use the phone with keyboard closed

Re: Touch PRo Keyboard gap

My phone is similar to badutahboy's, I can increase the gap if I pry the pieces away from each other but otherwise it's not noticable as such.

Re: Touch PRo Keyboard gap

Mine looks bowed too. There is a 1mm gap on the bottom and a .5mm gap at the top, and, to me, there is a noticeable curve starting at the dpad

Yeah, at least it's not too bad, I guess. I would take it back and return it for another one, but I'm not having any of the other big problems people are having on this site with their Touch Pro's (audio stuff, etc), so I'm afraid to exchange it for another one, lol.

Re: Touch PRo Keyboard gap

I have a very small gap at the bottom of the phone. I can almost make out the circuit board underneath. Not getting any clanking noises or anything when tapping.
