Touch Pro Buttons Stopped Working - Please help???
 

My Touch Pro Volume Up/Down buttons stopped working. Also, by Dial/Talk button stopped working. I tried to do a hard reset, but without volume down button cannot hard reset. Any ideas???

If it's like the diamond, go into start, settings, system, clear storage. hitting 1234 will do a hard reset. on diamond it didn't wipe out internal 4gb storage, would think it would leave storage card untouched as well. Hope that helps!

Thank you etski, that did the trick. Now I must find out what app killed my buttons.

Shot in the dark...
Hi, I was struggling with the same thing. I just figured out the VibrationFeedback on my phone. If I disable it my volume up/down starts working again. If you're running it as well it could be the problem.

I had the same problem BUT... all i needed to do to fix it was to uninstall both .NET Compact Framework 2.0 and .NET Compact Framework 3.5 via WM Device Center (on my laptop) and then i just simply reinstalled .NET Compact Framework 3.5 and all is well again.

I assume having .net cf 2.0 and 3.5 at the same time was causing program glitches.
