how to disable emergency mode?

is tehre a way to stop it from locking outbound calls after a 911 call? i want to disable the 911 alert to. it is unsafe if you are trying to make a call. even verizon has agreed to disable that loud *** alert

Don't know if you can disable it. You can still make outbound calls, you just have to Exit Emergency Mode. Haven't had to call 911 with the TP but last Sunday had to call with my Mogul for the first time and it was a button on the top right of the keypad. Hit exit and I was back to normal.

has to be some type of reg edit. and get rid of the high pitched alert
