Re: Jabra BT3030 on the Touch Pro (interesting A2DP Bluetooth use info)
I found a great use for the BT3030 - as a Bluetooth "dongle" for my truck's AUX input.
I have a short 12" stereo (headphone plug to headphone plug) patch cable that I plugged into the earphone jack of the "dog tag". I turned it on and started streaming music from Shoutcast using PocketMusicPlayer 5.1 to my stereo without having to have cables running all over the place! The phone held by a windshield mount so it gets the best GPS signal and already has a power cable running to it - no desire to have even more wires running to it!!! All in all the BT3030 has met and exceeded all my expectations! |

Re: Jabra BT3030 on the Touch Pro (interesting A2DP Bluetooth use info)
I just got my BT3030 from eCost... shipping and customer service sucked azz! But hey for 40 bux you cant beat it.
The volume is a little low for my taste- doesn't come close to the audio out of the dongle, but I can put my phone in my bad and pretty much go anywhere in the gym - Ill take that. |

FYI this device picks up outside noise REALLY easily... if you so much as touch a bag of potato chips, the other person on the line thinks you're swimming in a vat full of potato chip bags.
