Any luck with Google Maps?

I installed my older version, and of course it's unreadable on the go. Does anyone know where to get a VGA compatible version?

Google maps is working out great for me. I would suggest the same link as above.

Works beautifully. Why install an older version? They release new ones all the time for free from their site. Just download the latest every once in a while. They're constantly improving it with cool stuff.

Yeah, I haven't had an issue with the newest release either - one of the first apps I installed to my phone...

Nope, afaik this feature is unsupported on the touch pro (as it was on the mogul) - click Use GPS in the menu and it will show your exact location though (my location is cell tower triangulation to show just an approximate area, use gps will give you a much more accurate location anyways).

Yeah, My Location works the moment you choose Use GPS. Without it it's unsupported by our phone, but less accurate.

Newer google maps works fine, beautifully so, with VGA and the TP. Location hasn't ever worked (and with a GPS, who cares?) but that's about the only negative.
