Compact Querty in a text or email

when i start writing a new sms or email and use the compact querty, it just types numbers, i dont get it, i turned t9 off and on and still nothing

will only do numbers and symbols even though i can see letters

can someone help!!

I found out that the "classic word completion" cab that I downloaded from Touch Pro essentials was causing this. I uninstalled that cab, then did a soft reset and it corrected the problem. Give it a shot.
