Official Touch Pro App Request Thread
 

Hello everyone...

Ive been scouring the forums looking for a place that we can request software for specific devices. I haven't really found anything like I am thinking so...

I have seen a few people bring up threads with cool software on other devices (That G1 shopping thing is kewl), that they would like to see on our devices. Id like to have a place that we can try to keep track of these and try to generate more and more interest in these programs. Hopefully with the popularity of the Diamond and Pro we can request to have things made for our WM Phones.

So... Im going to create this one (if no one minds)

Ill have a post for requests of software that exists out there on different devices and then when someone finds something that matches and is compatible with our TP's, we can then post the links or info here.

I would like to see MusicID rewritten or modded to connected to Sprints song store when it IDs a song.

Id love that too... it will will have to be something that someone from a community does. im pretty sure that Shazam gets kickbacks from Amazon and iTunes.

We need to make the suggestion over at XDA. There is a guy there who is a pro with the MusicID program.

Doesnt seem to take a pic. You have to type in the number. Its good, but not a perfect replacement.

Crapola!!!!.. Well I will keep looking now.. I always thought a program like this existed, but never tried to hunt it down... but now.. I am definately on the hunt....

Just FYI - if you got to http://softwarestore.sprint.com and got to "Free / Demo" section.. there is a barcode scanner there, but is not to check prices. It is more for those "cow print" style codes that you see. From what I can tell it is used mostly for advertisement or more info purposes. But has potential to be used for much more. It's worth a look anyway.

This is a 2d barcode reader for websites.

Not quite the same as the one where you can scan UPC's and do pricechecks. That'd be cool!
