Re: Screen Protector = To use Or Not To use?

The screen is not glass. If you think of how a resistive touch-screen works, you will realize this is either impossible, or nearly impossible to make one from glass.

It has to flex

That's why I think we should ditch resitive touch, and go with capacitive or infrared... mmmmm infrared!

Take it off again... wash it with soap and water...

1) Use scotch tape and tape down the sticky side the long way. (Overlap each scotch tape)

2) Then start from the Straight end (the HTC logo end) and slowly peel away to the earpiece

I took it off and was really pissed off that it collected lint and had tons of bubbles when I tried to put it on again... but I managed to put it back on perfectly with this method.

Re: Screen Protector = To use Or Not To use?

I did away with it today, there was an edge that kept getting caught up and i got fussy about it. So in short its gone and i'm happy. Screen is extremely sensitive. I also did a hardness test (lets not get into the details) but basically dragged a pair of scissors over the screen under the weight of the scissors. Scratched my 6700 screen but no evidence on my pro, also this is the worst scratch on the 6700 by far and that was used for 2yrs at least. i figure its not going to see anything harsher than this in my pocket. I'm liking it so far.
