Different System / Ringer Volume

I would like to set my Touch Pro's volume (by pressing the volume keys on the left or they speaker icon on the top) for System = Silent, Ringer = sound. Does anyone know if this can be done? When I go to the volume screen and click Silent on the System tab, the Ringer tab is also set to Silent. When I change Ringer, it also changes System. I would like for these settings to be independent of each other. Is that possible?

Thanks.

Go to the sound thingy on the settings page, and scroll up and down. You can control everything there.

Thanks. I was hoping to have a real quick way to control the volume, but going to Sound in Settings will get me what I want.

Re: Different System / Ringer Volume

You can actually move the volume down to zero on the system (with the side button) without having to click on "silent" or "vibrate" (which affects both the system and ringer.

This is what you are looking for, right?

That is exactly what I want! I didn't think of that. A night, I want the phone to ring for voice calls, but all others, txt, email, calendar reminders, etc, I don't want any sound / vibration.

Thanks for the help.

Re: Different System / Ringer Volume

What I want is to have the ring on vibrate, but the system sounds to be audible. Any thoughts?
