Re: Reminders Notification - Losing Display on Screen

I don't have a solution but I'll chime in since I have the same problem. I have not found a pattern either in the loss. It's annoying as I use it for wake-up alarms, appointment reminders, messaging etc so I have almost all of them set for pop-ups.

I have the same problem and I like having a pop up message on screen when I get a new message so I can know who is messaging me..Is there a solution to this?

Re: Reminders Notification - Losing Display on Screen

I had read somewhere that Opera was the cause, but I haven't found a fix.

Re: Reminders Notification - Losing Display on Screen

Huh, a soft reset fixed things, it seems....

Is there a way to prevent the notification icon from appearing in the top bar? For example, if I get a text message or an alarm goes off I would prefer to NOT see the icon at the top. Just curious

Re: Reminders Notification - Losing Display on Screen

A soft reset fixed this for me only temporarily. There seems to be no pattern for the phone to "un-check" notify for reminders.

Re: Reminders Notification - Losing Display on Screen

I have the same problem and I'm surprised more people don't think it's a problem. Having the notification bubble pop up is the easiest and quickest way to see what just happened. I always have to click the bar to see whether it was an alarm, appointment, text etc...

Re: Reminders Notification - Losing Display on Screen

Ill second that problem!! It annoys the crap out of me. When my alarm goes off I have to tap the top bar, then get the system status, then tap the alarm box then the reminder box pops up, then I have to dismiss the alarm,WTF!!!! Way to much to do just to turn the alarm off! And its way to early.. The funny thing is it did work for a few weeks for some reason, now never.

Re: Reminders Notification - Losing Display on Screen

This bug has many many threads,it is the TFLO 3d software resetting so you stay as far out of windows as possible. As far as I can tell there is no fix for it so far. However until someone finds a hack the great people at g-alarm have a solution. Install the galarm program and during set up check the box for windows alarm bug fix, this will allow the pop up for reminders and notification(requires a soft reset).

Hope this helps
