Touch Flo 3D keeps trying to launch
I was attempting to load a new theme onto my phone. Used the diamond TF3D tool, then attempted to load the .theme file. The instructions for the theme stated that I needed an updated manila.exe file which i got from xda and placed it in the \windows folder replacing the old file.
Upon reboot the Touch Flo attempts to launch. I get a message saying "Tap here to launch Touch Flo", I tap and it starts to load then flashes for a second then goes back to the today screen and then I get the same message that Touch Flo is attempting to load. I tried another theme thinking that something was wrong with the theme but the same thing happens. I've also uninstalled the manila customizer and reinstalled it and still having the same issues. Anyone had similar issues with loading themes? Just want the stock touch flo back. Sorry for the long post, but I figured the more detail the easier it might be to get a fix. Thank you |
Re: Touch Flo 3D keeps trying to launch
you might want to delete the "newer" manila.exe file from the windows directory. It'll restore the manila.exe that's in ROM.

--- Freeza IT WORKS!!!!!!!!! Touch Flo is back to the original. I'll probably not change anything until more themes are created and know that they work. Thanks AGAIN!!!!! |
Re: Touch Flo 3D keeps trying to launch
How do you delete manila.exe from the windows directory? I can't delete the file using file explorer, both delete and rename are grayed out.

Re: Touch Flo 3D keeps trying to launch
you need to use something different than the file explorer. Use total commander, you can probably find it in the essentials thread. or you can find it here

Re: Touch Flo 3D keeps trying to launch
did you try to put the touch HD's manilla on your phone, from xda? Thats for GSM, any gsm manilla.exe might screw your stuff up if you have a cdma pro
