My TP occasionally forgets that there's a data connection

Occasionally, I'll have the greyed out arrows, but any program that requires the internet (opera, weather tab) will not "awake" the data connection. The arrows stay greyed out, and I eventually get an error about not being connected to the internet.

Terminating the connection and letting the program start it up again fixes the issue, but it is quite annoying.

Anyone else have this problem?

Yes. I would say once every few days, usually in the morning. I need to do a soft reset to get the data connection back. Turning Data Connection off and back on again does not fix it, soft reset does.

I remember experiencing this on the stock sprint ROM. I have the "vision duration" registry hack enabled on my Pro. I think all I had to do was click the little data connection icon for the disconnect bubble to come up, click "disconnect", and relaunch the internet program or action...and all was well.

Yeah...it was a little frustrating, but did not require a soft reset.

I also have this issue... Going to the comm manager and toggling the radio seems to fix it.

Im having the same problem. Its good to hear others are too. Disconnecting and re-enabling seems to work, thought it is anoying. I thought this might be caused by the flikp clock I installed, anyone else have that installed? Thats the only custom thing ive installed

Did it again overnight. Tried to get the data connection back w/o a reset but was not able to. When I tried to shut of the data connection in settings, just got the beach ball, waited for a few minutes. No Joy.
