New Mail Indicator

So when you have new and unread email there is a little golden indicator on the mail tab and the center mail icon on the mail screen. This indicator remains until you click on the message and open it up in full view.

Does anyone know of a way to change this behavior so that all that is required is that you preview it on the mail tab?

not at this time... maybe there is a reg edit for this, but i havent seen it yet... wouldnt be bad to have i suppose...

Yeah, just... some mail I don't need to open into full view or maybe I already read it on my PC. It's not a huge issue, but it'd be nice.

If you use IMAP, it will show emails as read if you read them on your PC. :P

It seems like it should be possible, the text messages go away after a few seconds on the preview page...

Thanks... I think, lol. That was just one example of a situation where this would be useful.
