Flexmail 4
 

Hello Everybody,

I just bought the HTC Touch Pro....

and already have a question

I would like to use another "mail application software (flexmail 4)" instead of the defaut WM6 one "mail"

But I wondering the following, on the "HTC TouchFLO" screen the "mail icons" is still linked to the "standard mail software".

So when I type on this "icone" I launched the standard "Mail" application instead of the new one that I want to use !

The question is how can I change this "mail icon" to point to my new mail application "Flexmail 4" and display mail from "Flexmail 4" ??

Or just change the link to point on the new mail software ?

Any idea ?

Is it possible ?

You could change your softkeys to launch flexmail. Download Diamond Tweaks. Thats one way to change those. There is no way (that I know of) to integrate flexmail into touchflo's mail screen as far as notifications and such. There may be a hack out there to make it launch flexmail when selected. You will still get a notification of new email from flexmail in the top status bar.

You can do what I do and just disable Touchflo all together and use the standard wm6 today screen which flexmail has a plugin for. Then it will show all your email accounts and new messages for each.

As for picture mail Im not sure flexmail supports MMS, but try in flexmail go to the settings, then applications and check "Make flexmail the default SMS program"
