Yeah, that IS slow, and I don't have the phone yet BUT I'm willing to bet that having so much more free RAM allows one the luxury of just keeping Opera active in the background.

Yes, it does.

Having 288MB of RAM pretty much makes it so I never have to soft-reset or permanently close anything.

oh ok that's good to know I always shut it down when I'm not using it on my Touch since it seems to be a lil more sluggish

i hope everyone upgraded to the new opera its version 2649 from the touch hd its sweet...con flipper got it and i just wanted to spread the word its awesome

The pro comes with 9.5. Is the one you have attached version 9 or a new build for 9.5?

I just got my Sprint HTC Touch Pro yesterday and to my surprise I can only navigate in 1x and not EVDO but since Im usually always in a EVDO area I can barely surf the net. I called Sprint Techs on 3 ocasions and they couldnt figure it out. Can anyone help me out?

You should probably start a seperate thread.
It sounds like registry settings to me, but I am not a registry pro.
