Touch Pro Keyboard Backlight
 

Is it me or is the backlight not disbursed properly? there are a lot of hot spots and not even at all. the top row is a lot brighter than the rest of the keyboard.

anyone else notice this?

Nope... its not you. mine is like this as well. and theres another thread on here where the OP mentioned that as well. its not that annoying. I just with the keyboard was on par with the screen brightness..

Yep it SUCKS big time. I ranted about it in my thread. It reminds me of the PPC-6700. Not enough light and doesn't stay on for long. Be careful, if you complain you get flamed, lolol.

Somehow I doubt there is a fix for this that would not require more leds, which would drain more battery... It is probably light from one point being fed under all the keys, so it is normal to have the light fade farther from the source...


Yes my KB has uneven lighting, but I can read all the keys.

mine is uneven as well. i can read all of the keys, but it's pretty annoying.

Maybe the next batch of TP's won't have this issue... At least I hope so. I usually wait about a month or two to buy the latest gadgets in hopes of the bugs and kinks being worked out.

I don't mind the uneven light. Although, it did impress me everytime I ejected the keyboard on my Mogul and saw the lights comes on... quite beautiful.

But I get that same feeling whenever I turn on the screen of my new TP. THAT is a work of art.

My keyboard dont open smooth..is not tight but it kind of makes a noise as if it the back of the screen touches keys??? anyone else????
