Weather App Frozen
 

Hey, sorry if this was answered before, I did read about the weather update issues, but this is a little different. I am able to get to the weather fine, but I am unable to scroll through my cities using the finger swipe and when I tell it to update it says updating forever. I know a soft reset will fix this (have done it twice) but wondering if there were any other fixes...it is a bit annoying to have to soft reset every time weather goes down.

Funny, read the title of this and went over to the weather tab, and the same thing is happening to me. It has updated and worked before, this is the first time its frozen. All I did was install and uninstall skyfire, and make a couple of tethering reg edits.

I haven't messed with anything on mine and I'm having the same problem. I turned off automatic weather updates and now it will manually update just fine, but I still want it to work right...

Just wondering if anyone has any update on this. I've turned off automatic weather updates, but now it will just say updating forever, and will not update. Like I said, soft reset will work but is annoying to have to do every day for weather. Some additional info. I have the stock sprint rom, no new programs installed beyond the picmail update cab.

I had the same issue and it resolved itself after I disconnected from USB to my computer.

same problem here a couple of times. I can't scroll through my pics through touchflo either. I get to the 3rd pic and it starts touchflow all over again. real weird

same thing happened to me and i couldnt hit the 5 day soft key... so i did the folliowing

its something with the server again, mine was doing the same thing, i did a soft reset just now and went right to the weather tab after it booted up and hit update, and let it sit there for a minute WITH OUT touching any button...

i think the servers are over loaded...
