Yup. Use a regeditor and browse to HKLM/Comm/InternetSharing and delete the only key there (says isext.dll or something), then under HKLM/Comm/InternetSharing/Settings, either change the ForceCellConnect value to say "Sprint" or delete the key completely.

Its as trackable as it has been in the past on the Mogul/Apache/6700 etc... aka unless your usage is through the roof, you will get away with it just fine.

heres something odd, after doing this, i no longer have the ability to hit connect, what do i do now?
Edit* I typo'd sprint in the registry, alls well now... i must say, it looks like they still have rolled out the new rev in my area, im still getting around 400mbs Last edited by gobmonster; 10-28-2008 at 06:17 PM. |
