Keyboard woes

I have posted that I am having issues with the physical keyboard, it doesn't input text. However, the keyboard will respond to function keys. I took it up to Sprint this afternoon to see if it was a setting that got accidently turned on. The technician thought it was a setting that got turned on but didn't know where to look. They hadn't seen any manuals on the phone (They were all ticked that BB was selling them before they got them and no one had even seen the phone).

Is there anyone with knowledge of this device who could tell me if their is any setting that turns off they keys on the physical keyboard?
