Arizona DST

So my time's set an hour quick, even though I have my time zone correctly set to Arizona. For the life of me I can't seem to get it to correct back to the "real" time.

Called Sprint, some idiot on the other side told me to remove the battery and if that didn't work take it in for repair service because it could be a "device issue."

Any help?

Re: Arizona DST

Download the patch for DST maybe? You would think that would be included, but maybe they forgot?

I am also in AZ and have the same problem. Everytime I sync it bumps the clock an hour even though the comp time is correct and the phone is set to AZ. I downloaded the DST patch and soft reset and it still doesnt keep the right time. Let me know if you find out anything. Thanks!

Re: Arizona DST

You have to uncheck the get time from network option in the phone options list. For whatever reason Sprint's network in AZ is an hour ahead.

Re: Arizona DST

I have the same problem as well. I eventually gave up and stuck it on pacific time. I guess I'll just have to pay attention to when DST is and switch it back to MST then.

Until the fix the towers, seems to be more accurate then being an hour off. I called sprint tech support and they logged the issue, not sure when they will fix it though.

Re: Arizona DST

I'm in AZ and had this problem with my last three WinMo phones, setting it to Pac time is always the best fix.
