Re: Anyone using their Touch Pro handsfree through Car Stereo?

+1 on the Pioneer p7000bt, works great on the music and the nav. and the voice command works via the deck too!!

Your head unit has a usb? I assume that means you use a thumb drive or somesuch to play music? if so, see if you can't force the phone into hard drive mode instead of activesync. that should allow the head to recognize the phone's content.

Re: Anyone using their Touch Pro handsfree through Car Stereo?

I currently use at $5 tape adapter (my factory unit has cd/tape) and it works great with the TP. With my mogul, I had to have an extra adapter and it made everything sound crapy. I was saving up to go to a bluetooth head unit but now I'm pretty content with this solution since it doesn't cost much and all.

I wouldn't mind having the extra features of a bt head unit though.

The Touch Pro works fine in my Range Rover Sport. Bluetooth telephony works. I don't get Bluetooth audio playback. Just phone. In my suburban, I am planning on getting a FM transmitter dongle they sell on ebay.

For now, I just have it hardwired so I can transmit the GPS to my factory navigation screen.

Works fine with the Ford/Microsoft SYNC. BT headset and wireless audio.

Actually, i went to either Dollar General or Family Dollar and bought it there. I started out at Walgreens but they wanted like 20 bucks for one.
