PPCGeeks - Anyone get this app working yet?

I've been using PocketInformant for a while and prefer it to the built in calendar. I found this app over at xda (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=407777) and have tried to get it working but nada yet. Reading through the posts I see talk of it maybe not working with certain manilla builds. Don't know if that really is the issue or if I'm the culprit but maybe somebody here can have a crack at it and get it working. I get no errors and seemingly all goes as per the instructions but once I try to restart TF it just cycles and never activates.

Hope someone has some luck, I'd love to get PocketInformant working again as my default calendar.
