Re: Who's Battery Cover "Clicks"?

I've tried pushing my cover down harder when sliding it closed with no success. How are you guys fixing this problem?

Has anyone exchanged their Touch Pro that had this issue and gotten a replacement without the issue?

Re: Who's Battery Cover "Clicks"?

Mine doesn't "click", but it does like a low pitched squeak... I voted yes, though.

Re: Who's Battery Cover "Clicks"?

mine does, mostly on the opposite side of the volume buttons. No big deal though.

Mine makes a cracking sound when I'm using the keyboard, so I voted yes....

Re: Who's Battery Cover "Clicks"?

I would just like to comment that I love this phone, it's perfect... except, that these creaks and clicks make it feel like it was just slapped together and rather fragile. Wonder if future builds will resolve some of these tolerance issues.

Re: Who's Battery Cover "Clicks"?

Mine makes the same clicking noise when I hold the phone to press "ok", what I did was cut a small piece of rubber (from a rubberband) and lay it in that location of the loose cover to reduce the space. Then I slid the cover back on (making sure the piece of rubber is exactly where I want it). Worked like a my cover is now on securely and not a sound not even a peep. lol.

Re: Who's Battery Cover "Clicks"?

htc has this problem with every phone they come out with. this phone seems so well built but it's a shame that the back cover securely being snug never goes through quality assurance. My old htc dash had a cover that would just fall off all the time. My touch did the same thing and now this.

Re: Who's Battery Cover "Clicks"?

I just exchanged mine for another one at Best Buy. Although, this device seems much "tighter" than my first, this one has the "dreadful" click as well.

Hopefully, when the extended batteries come out it will help remedy this issue as the Sedio 1500mAh battery did on my 6900.
