MagiKB Lite Touch Pro Overlay
 

I love this program from Mobiion, and decided to do an overlay so this works for the Touch Pro. It was worth the $11. Just install the attached overlay into /My Documents/MagiKB Lite/ After installing the Program. Basically if you dont know what it is, it allows you to use the alternative symbols without pressing the Shift key or Fn key, with an extra 200ms keypush.

Yours is missing a lot of the letters that are needed in the cycle function. I don't use the double-click function, when typing double letters you have to wait a little bit, and when you're a fast typer, that can get annoying. Here is the complete overlay that is 100% working, cycle or not.


-Rename .txt to .lay after download.

you can just hold down the key without using the shift key....

Does anyone have an issue with this software interfering with the volume keys. When I try to install this software, my volume up and down doesn't work. Works fine when I uninstall though.

Yes it does interfere with the volume buttons, and I don't know of a way you can map the volume buttons in MagiKB to make them stick to what they're supposed to do. It's not the biggest deal though, You can change the volume with a single click to access the volume screen, then tap to whatever level you want from there.

In your .lay file, you are unable to use the cycle function to capitalize letters other than maybe five of them. I added the strings necessary to capitalize the entire keyboard using the cycle method.

Ok got ya. Yea I didnt do that on purpose since I dont use it like that.

Also to get volume buttons to work use theHookMgr.CAB that it came with, this will fix that issue.

Neither of these lay files worked for me. The only keys that worked had all the "mapping" fields populated (eg: shift, option, cycle). So I edited the file for each letter to add a capital letter to the "option" column. Now every key works on my Sprint HTC Touch Pro. lay file attached. -Rename .txt to .lay after download.
