What do you use your TP for?

Okay being as though Sprint calls this a business phone, how many of you actually use it for business or is it a toy? I own a business so its always business for me.(no I'm not Joe the Plumber)

Toy mainly for me. I can't really elaborate what I really use TP for though

Re: What do you use your TP for?

It's a HUGE part of my hustle, so yeah I'd say it's a business phone.

I use my Mogul heavily for business, and was eagerly anticipating a better phone as a replacment, but the more I learn about this phone, I see it as a serious downgrade. The Mogul's buttons with AEButton+ make it very easy to navigate one-handed and get right to where you want to go. I think kids like the TP better, because of the cool factor of the ICI (Interactive Cartoon Interface), but I just don't see this as being a better business phone, and good business practice says it's a waste of money to get a downgrade in day-to-day functionality, just to get things that are more for "play" and "looking cool"

Toy is all it is needed for, it doesn't hurt my business though.

Re: What do you use your TP for?

Also, the fact that the 500 or so photos on my Mogul, of issues on job-sites, will crash the TP is a biggie. But seriously, after looking through all the threads, and as long as I've anticipated this, I'm bitterly disappointed by the problems, lack of functionality from the loss of all the buttons, and issues too numerous to relate that are coming up. I don't want to go through all that again just to end up with a lesser business phone

Well, I would think I serious business user as yourself could perchance appreciate the 2.4x more RAM and superior performance of the TP over the mogul let alone the better stability. You could also fit tinier text onto the screen and read it because of the better resolution of the TP. There are hardware button on the TP and I'm certain AEB Plus would work for it so, yes, you wouldn't have as many combinations as the mogul but you could still manage pretty efficiently on the TP. Also more business like functionality with the Video-out capability of the TP, so I would hardly say that's a waste of money. There's also the accelerometer which could be manipulated with 3rd party software to perform certain functions simply with changing the orientation.

You don't need manilla to view photes (which in my opinion is bloatware), and you could just use the HTC album or the native WM photo viewer. Also with a flush screen it's easier to tap the extremities, rendering lesser dependence on the stylus.

Re: What do you use your TP for?

i love how some people post negativity about a phone they wish they had. sour grapes. ill use the pro as a total toy, some calls mostly toy. same as my diamond. my pro will be here wed. and i cant wait. some people think a bag phone is better because they cant get one.

It isn't faster. PERIOD. DOT. More stable, I haven't seen that either. I don't want to add software to control the buttons. I will be, but crap that sucks. I had to do it with my Mogul too.
