No offense but good luck getting the ESN without going to tge guy in person and calling Sprint with the phone in hand right in front of the seller.I'

I personally would NEVER, EVER, give out my ESN unless it was with the buyer there so it doesn't get stolen or cloned.

I'm no expert but from my understanding, Asia is the only other place (besides North America) with CDMA and Asian CDMA phones aren't fully compatible with the US CDMA networks. A European version would be GSM. That just leaves like a 1% chance that he somehow got an early release of a North American version. There's some GSM Touch Pros for sale but, not one CDMA version. Sounds like a scam to me...

If you can put it on your account, and he is willing to wait till then before you pay him, then honestly its a good deal. if you have to take the phone and activate it later then heck no. If the system puts it on your account and you can make and receive calls then why not, you're already good to go.

i work for sprint. You don't have to ask any questions. If someone was to walk into my store, i would activate it for him. If it gives me an error, I would just tell the customer its not possible, but honestly, the touch pro is actually in the system and would accept it, if it actually is a touch pro

well i dont know much about GSM and CDMA. Can u 1st tell me what these letters mean and also how can i tell the difference if i was to meet the guy to buy the phone. what should i know to know if its legit or not?

ok thanks. if the esn number is clean i wouldnt have no problems puttin it on my account right? and also, can u explain to me wat is GSM and CMDA, i think thats what it is?!?!?!?!

Honestly, I don't even think you should even waste your time. If this guy actually had a sprint touch pro he could easily sell the thing on ebay right now and get $500-$600 easily if not more since the phone isn't officially out yet, so why settle for $250? And if its gsm version of the same phone of course it wouldn't work with sprint anyway but again with the gsm versions those are selling for $700-$800 unlocked so again why $250? This phone is either hot or he is setting you up for some kind of scam. We only have a few more weeks before the pro is released from sprint. I have dealt with my mogul all year I can wait a few more days for the pro without it killing.
