Well I tried this idea and this is what i got.

"Thank you for contacting Sprint. I am delighted to assist you about
Touch Pro.

On your account three lines are active. All the three lines are
eligible for Additional rebate $150.00.
You can purchase the new phone at online price.

The HTC Touch Pro (PPC6850SP) is going to be launcg in October 19
,2008."

I then asked how much it would be and they said they couldn't tell me. There is apparently no pre-order either.

PPC6850? Pfft, they should have named the Diamond 7000 and the Touch Pro 7100.

I tried to coerce one of the reps to let me pre-order it for like 5 minutes. She wasn't having it. lol

I work at a company that is changing all of our 250 phones over to Sprint as a corporate account. Part of that deal is that Management will get the Touch Pro. Our Sprint Reps. made a comment about 10/19 already being "out the window", and then that Sept. "looks good though". That seems to lend some credence to the 9/2 date... All I know is that I cannot wait!

Huh? I'm totally confused. 10/19 is "out the window," but that September "looks good though"?

So, does that mean it's gonna be released 10/2 because 9/2 is already past.

Wake me up i have no clue what you just said? 10/19 out the window would be oct 19th ok i got that but wth is the 9/02 date? we are past 9/02 unless im in another zone which i am many times but please explain this post to me again? i really don't get it????

Personally I am hoping it was a typo instead of him trolling. I would guess he meant 10/2. Sadly I almost hope is isn't true... I wont get paid until the 3rd.

Thats just off by one day, besides you can always have sprint just charge your account.
