Re: HTC Raphael Specs

When I was out of CDMA coverage for a couple weeks, I left my Mogul on in flight mode, and it only dropped 10 or 20% in 5 days, so 320 hours is doable in flight mode at least. :P

Re: HTC Raphael Specs

I agree, I have a RAZR that used to be on alltel. I charged it up to get the contacts off of it. I just left it on to die and it took forever, probably almost 2 weeks of sitting there to die.

The thickness is still too much for me.

Anyone know the thickness of the Treo 800w?
The Treo 850 seems to be only 14 mm or so?
That's thin.
The Treo doesn't have a slide-out keyboard.

thats what you get when theres a keyboard, especially a slide out one- a thicker phone. the mogul is 18.5, touch pro is 18, and the 800w is right around mogul thickness (not even slide out!). http://www.wmexperts.com/articles/tr...shot_some.html check it out for yourself doesnt look thinner than the mogul on bottom. Youre not gonna get much better on a qwerty PPC right now, especially for how much this offers in terms of features over the mogul and 800w. The gsm phones you cant compare because they use smaller components and have better battery life requiring a smaller battery and housing. Thats why the 850 is 14mm and the 800w looks right about 17-18

Re: HTC Raphael Specs

i noticed that the HTC Diamond has has USB 2.0 (480 Mbit/s) very nice transfer speed.
BUT at http://www.pdadb.net the specs for the TOUCH PRO (HTC RAPHAEL) shows to be USB 2.0 (12 Mbit/s), If this is so, THIS WOULD REALLY SUCK! I hope they dont pull this stunt on the best phone they created.
Can anyone confirm this ???

"Connectivity Bluetooth® 2.0 with EDR
Wi-Fi®: IEEE 802.11 b/g
HTC ExtUSB™ (11-pin mini-USB 2.0, audio jack, and TV Out* in one)"

source:http://www.htc.com/www/product.aspx?id=49524

"USB 2.0 has a raw data rate of 480 Mbps while USB 1.1 has a raw data rate of 12 Mbps."

source:http://www.everythingusb.com/usb2/faq.htm

That should answer your question. As long as it has USB 2.0 it's going to run at 480 Mpbs I would be led to believe.
