How Do I root my Touch Pro

I just upgraded to an Evo an want to play around with my old Touch Pro. How to I root the device and try to run an Android Rom on it?

I did dual boot via haret into xandroid .

Thanks in advance for the help. If this is a duplicate thread I am sorry.

PS I also have a Mogul I would like to do the same to if possible.

Look down two threads...

[BUILD] **Complete Froyo Bundle!!** FRX06 - "Stable" - Minor Fixes.

Also, that build is already "rooted"... You don't root the phone in this case since it's running Android off of the SD card via haret.

The Mogul is a different phone, which I think runs Android but not very well. Dunno, see that section of the forum please.

Also, if you have issues with that build, post in that build thread...

Thanks. I thought the actually phone could be rooted. Sorry NooB mistake.
I have been running WM then using GenY's dual boot to get into the Android OS. So there is now way to just run only android as the primary OS?

For RHOD (TP2) it's still in its infancy. No other devices have been added yet. Work is being done to try and get the NAND tree to merge back to the main haret tree, but it's not done yet. I don't think any other devices even have a chance of running off of NAND until that happens.

Stick to haret/SD card installs until NAND is polished more.
