Adding charter email acct to Touch Pro 2

For the life of me I cannot set up my charter email account to my Touch Pro 2. Folks at Charter were't any help either. Anyone out there have this similar problem and if so, how did you FIX it??

This is the TP section, and is it just a regular exchange account? If it's exchange, you can just use ActiveSync. If it's IMAP or POP3, it's a little more complicated - but not bad.

How do you access your email?

Mods, please move this to the TP2 general section.

I have charter working on my touch pro...

Since you didn't explain what error you are getting I am not sure where the problem is.

If its what to use for settings, use pop.charter.net for your incoming mail server, and smtp.charter.net for your outgoing SMTP mail server.

I get a message error when trying to send email from the acct. It says, "Messages cannot be downloaded to your mobile device. Make sure you are connected and that your email account settings are correct. Then try to download again." I already had incoming set for pop.charter.net:110 and used POP3 as account type. For outgoing, I have SMTP mail server: mobile.charter.net:587. At one time I was receiving emails to this account and just unable to send. Now, I don't even think I'm receiving them.
