sms delays

so when i text people they say there is some delay in messages, so i have to send the message twice, also there is a delay in receiving messages on my phone. soo does this have to do with data connections being off? also will turning wifi on fix it? i have sprint stock rom touch pro

Re: sms delays

the delay maybe the phone company's servers being slow and nothing to do with the phone

i dont get too much of a delay with sprint, at most maybe a minute but most of time it's just a couple seconds

Humm, is this a recent problem or has it been ongoing?

its like on and off. i think it has to do with my connection? lik sometimes when i have 1 bar i dont get the message but in a place where i have 3, i get them like instantly. ive done many hard and soft resets, but its been happening for a while on and off

Do you have another device that you can activate and see if the problem persists? At least you would then know if it was a device issue or a network issue...

Humm... it is very difficult to know unless you could test with another device. I hope it is not too challenging of an issue for you!
