Help can not install GPS program RAPI error
 

I want to install my copy of anywheremap wx onto my alltel htc touch pro. When I run the idsk I get an RAPI error and it said that it can not install the program on my phone. I do not do much with my phone, but reading up on RAPI I understand that it is some type of security thing that keeps some programs from installing. I would like to get around this and have been looking up unlocking my phone. I do not want to change the rom or anything, i just want to be able to install my gps software. I decided that if anyone knew how to do this it would be you guys. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

You don't have a .cab file for the software you're trying to install?

No, It runs off of a setup off a CD. I searched the CD for a cab file and found nothing.

Does your cd say that it's for windows mobile?
Not insinuating anything. It's just that it makes it easier knowing.

Yes, the program is made for windows mobile. I have installed it and run it on my dell axmin x51v and my iPAQ 4700. From my understanding my phone is blocking the install because it is locked. I could be wrong.

That's really strange... Usually RAPI errors are asoociated with dll files.
The error you get... It states your phone is locked and do you get a second (RAPI) error or is it all one?
Sorry... Sometimes I wish I could just look over your shoulder to see what you see.

Hello go it to work! I found the file on a pda that i already have it installed on and copied it onto my phones card. It was an .exe file!
