HTC TP CDMA changing operator

Dear all,

I have my brothers HTC TP CDMA from sprint(USA) which is discontinued from service now.

Right now i am in India and there are two CDMA operators over here.

I have MightyRom6 installed on the device.

Is it possible to use the Indian operators in this device? If yes then what all settings i have to change in Device before going to buy a connection ? And how can i search the available cdma network?

Thank you

it's possible if that carrier in India is willing to activate the ESN on their network.

Gr8, So any hardware or software change is required in device?

Also when i dial ##778# and try to change/edit values it is asking for a password/key .. Any body knows how to get that password ?

Thanks

Here you go.

If it doesn't work on the first try, do a soft reset.

just the provisioning to the carrier you are flashing it to. and if you're trying to get to your MSL screen because of this...once you succeed in activating it with the carrier, any changes in your MSL will be taken care of when the new carrier provisions your phone.

but again....you have to make sure that the particular carrier you want to activate it on is willing to put your ESN in their system/network.
