ROM dilema

Ok, I am not really sure what my questions is, but here is my problem.

I have been using the mighty roms since i got my TP a year and a half ago. I normally use the mighty 4 with 6.1, but my battery life is miserable and it needs to be reloaded every month or so since it seems to get unstable as time goes by.

I have tried a couple times to use mighty6 and it has MUCH better battery life, but I have issues with my programs that use gps. with my job, I use GPS on a daily basis and need it to work.

So I guess my question is, what to do? I am happy with mighty6 95% of the time, but I just can't have my gps struggles. For example about 1/2 the time I start up a gps type program, it won't find the gps receiver and or satellites. I end up doing a re-boot, and quick gps update, and sometimes that works, but sometimes I have to do it 10 times before it finally works.

I haven't been watching the forums much in the last year or so, but is there a rom I should try? or any tips?? Thanks,

Brew

Re: ROM dilema

Hrm... I was going to suggest QuickGPS but it seems you've already tried that. You may have a hardware issue, hard to tell. You could flash back to stock and see if the problem persists - then you may have grounds to get it replaced if you have TEP.

Re: ROM dilema

well,, that is kinda the problem. When i use mighty4, I have no gps issues, but the rom is very unstable and needs to be re-done every month or two.

Mighty6 is more stable, and better battery life, but gps doesn't work very well.

Re: ROM dilema

Try Energy ROM or stock then... See if it persists.
