Maps for cell phone!!!

SERIOUSLY!
Why is it so fn' hard to find a fn' map for my fn' HTC Touch Pro.(or windows mobile for that matter)
Every one has map software!
Every one can show maps while online!
But WTF, where are some downlodable maps that work with any of this shit!
I have been looking for 2 DAYS now!
I don't need any stupid street maps. There are street maps in every phone book out there.
Were talking topo or terrain maps. I don't want any caching software either, there are plenty of those apps out there and they are bs.
This is what I want....
Download map, look at map on cell phone, gps positioning on the map that i am looking at. Not to hard i wouldn't think????

NaviComputer looks like it will do what you want. Most everything developed by end users happens at XDA, so I'd always start looking there instead of ppcgeeks.

TomTom is over at PiratesBay and works great. About a 800mb download for the Us and Canada maps.

google maps has sat view and i believe you can also download maps so you will still have them when you dont have internet.

Did you even bother clicking the link in my first reply? The screenshot shows a topo map right on that page and it's 'offline'. You just use a program on your PC to download stuff and get it onto your phone.

What's wrong with Bing maps or Google maps?
I believe they both give you what you want including directions and downloadable maps. Sat view and street view.
Maybe I misunderstood.

Go to m.Google.com on your mobile and download Google Maps.

Go to the GPS File Depot... They have all sorts of free and legal topo maps and such I use for my Garmin XT software...
