Pro Randomly Rotates to Side View

Okay so I have had my Pro for almost two years now and this particular phone for about a year and a half (got a new one because of the keyboard issue). The keyboard again doesn't work on this one but since I haven't gone into surgery with it and followed the guide, it still doesn't work. Anyway, about a week ago, just pulled it out of my pocket and it was on the menu screen that comes up when you slide the keyboard out. I waited a bit and it switched to the normal menu without me doing a think. I started to type a message on the touch screen and it flipped sideways on me. About 30 seconds of starring at it and it flipped back. Restarted didn't solve this problem. It behaved itself until today when it did it again. I think it snapped back out of its funk now though. Any thoughts on how to prevent this or fix this? Is this a common issue?
