Hardware failure - Factory flashing

After running Mighty & then a Energy image, I had to revert this unit back to a factory image due to a broken volume button.

I ran a stock image: XV6875_MR2_upgrade
---which now after reading the "upgrade" part of file name.. i can see my issue

When the phone is powered on, it does not get past the white HTC screen with some red data in the lower left corner.

Any ideas? Can i flash a real ROM from Boot? Power-on w/ volume up..

you posted this in the touch pro section. you have a touch pro 2 from what you're saying. What you're experiencing is a known problem. You cannot run the MR2 rom on an unlocked phone. So, if you want to stick with that rom, then relock your phone. If you want to stay unlocked, then just flash another rom. With phone off, hold the vol down and then press power button. Dont let go of vol down until bootloader screen pops up. should only take 2 or 3 sec
