Re: Flashed with MightyRom 6, now how to cricket it?:)

you'll need 3 things.

1st: You need to enter your EPST settings and load a cricket PRL:
http://www.howardforums.com/showthre...Flashing-Guide

Second: you'll need the DCD file. This gives you talk and text.

3rd: you'll need Wap and MMS. Download and install this:

thanks for the informative reply, hopefully just one more question.. is there anyway to do it without previously having a cricket phone?

You will need an active cricKet number, most of the epst setting will be based off of your MDN, MIN the SID for your area along with the correct PRL for your area.

Also I don't know if anyone has posted if so here it is again.

As of Aug. 3, 2010 cricKet has new rate plans but along with those new plans come limitations on Customer Provide Equipment smart phones. What that means is if you go to a cricKet store to activate you will only have talk and text. Also if you call in to activate and tell the it's a PDA you will only have the basics.

To avoid this have a dealer activate it and ask for it to be listed as a Samsung R550, after activation ask the dealer to refresh the WAP/MMS to insure there are no problems.

Re: Flashed with MightyRom 6, now how to cricket it?:)

My local dealer put down I was useing a Motorola V60I
He had to input nam settings himself because htc touch pro would not download info .Luckily I had the espt edit program on the phone. He said he would have charged extra if I did not have that on there. Dealers are awesome Customer service would not even start me service because I was out of there area of service
Search whitey10tc posts they helped me out alot =D>
