Battery Question

Anyone ever struggle to update a ROM because their battery ALWAYS reads at 1% - despite having benn charged for 2 days on a brand new battery? (phone battery life also suggests the 1% is incorrect as it lasts all day).

I feel like this is a setting that can be modified, or cleared, allowing the new ROM to be loaded...

Thoughts? Thanks for your help and suggestions - this is a great forum for these types of challenges.

Put the phone into bootloader mode then update the ROM. It won't check the battery level.

How exactly does one do that? I have looked all over the settings and reg edit areas and do not find such a beast!

Try this to get into bootloader "pull the battery and put it back in, hold volume down and then hold down power until you see the tricolor screen (bootloader mode)"
